Greetings

I'm Dr. Brooke Grant, a lifelong educator and proud mother of three. My passion for education ignited during my early years as a middle school social studies teacher, and it has since evolved into my current position which is to prepare current educators and aspiring teachers at the university level.

In addition to my work preparing educators, I am committed to enhancing the safety and well-being of individuals in various caregiving roles. To this end I conduct specialized classes such as Safe@Home, Safe Sitter, and Grandparents: Getting Started. These programs are designed to equip individuals with essential life and safety skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for moments when they find themselves at home alone, caring for younger siblings or grandchildren, or taking on babysitting responsibilities. I first became interested in these classes when I was looking for classes for my own children to take.

I am a certified classroom teacher, and licensed Safe Sitter instructor, and have years of experience teaching individuals of various ages and in a multitude of settings. I truly believe that knowledge is transformative and I look forward to hearing from you!
